Fat Blocker Drink

1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon freshed squeezed lemon juice

Combine all ingredients and enjoy

Detox Banana Smoothie

1/2 banana
1/4 cup avocado
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.


Strawberry Breeze

1/2 cup of unsweetened frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 frozen banana
1 tbsp of cold-pressed flaxseed oil

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.


Sweet Monster Drink

1/2 cup coconut milk
2 tbsp natural almond butter
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 frozen banana
1 small handful of spinach leaves

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Blueberry Detox Smoothie

1/2 cup coconut milk yogurt
1/4 organic, carob chips
1 cup of fresh organic blueberries
1/2 frozen banana

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.


Skinny Pina Colada Smoothie

Gluten free and dairy free
Serves 2

1 frozen banana
3/4 coconut milk
6 oz coconut milk yogurt
1 1/4 cup ice
1 cup kale
3/4 cup pineapple frozen

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.



Here are some tips for making the perfect smoothie:

Start with a Protein:It’s the protein that makes it more of a meal and less of a drink.  This is really important at breakfast time.  Studies show eating enough protein in the morning can help you eat fewer calories throughout the day.

Choose your Liquid:There are a lot of choices for smoothie liquids.If you like creamy smoothies, use milk , either dairy or non-dairy.  If you prefer thinner smoothies use a fruit juice.

Add Frozen Fruit:  This will thicken your smoothie and make it cold.  Either buy frozen fruit or freeze your own. Cut fruit into pieces before freezing and freeze in individual portions.

Choose Some Healthy Additions: Smoothies are an easy, tasty way to get super foods into your diet.  Some great choices are bee pollen, flaxseed, chia seeds and nutritional yeast

Here is a perfect smoothie recipe that I drink for breakfast practically every morning.  It is simple and delicious.

4 Tablespoons Protein Powder
1 frozen banana
1 Tablespoon flaxseed
1 ½ cups coconut milk

Blend all ingredients in a high-powdered blender until smooth.



Cleansing Cranberry  Smoothie



Cranberries are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, and are best known from their cleansing powers.
They clear toxins and plaque buildup from the body by cleansing the organs utilized in elimination and the lymphatic system.

Cranberries also offer protection against urinary tract infections, support the immune system and benefit the cardiovascular system.

Add a little lemon into the mix and you have a one-two cleansing punch.






Cleansing Cranberry Smoothie Recipe

The Ingredients

1 cup water
1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 apple, cored and diced
1/2 lemon, peeled and seeded
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
A little honey, maple syrup, or stevia to sweeten (optional)

The Add-ons

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut flakes or shreds

Place all the ingredients into your high speed blender then blend on high until it reaches your desired consistency, around for 30-45 seconds.
